Tactics!

We are told to know the tactics of our enemy. I can admit that I haven't really sat down and studied the word of God to see how the enemy came at our brothers and sisters before us, because I doubt if he(satan) strays too much from the plans of old, but I haven't taken the time to see what he did back then and what he is doing now.
I know that he attacks what is most important to us and he attacks us also, well me, by bringing me things that I like. It seems that whatever attracts you, satan, wil mess with you on it. Also, the lack of knowledge is a big key in the door! God even warned us about that very thing. Knowledge! If we don't have it... we die! God let us have that one for almost free. But you either found that one out by reading and/or listening to the preacher. Studying is a must. Even if it is for an hour a day. Doesn't satan try and steal our time? Or do we let our time pass away with frivolous things? Things that are not edifying us nor the body of Christ. We must get on our post. Knowledge is life and knowledge is power! We must seek God in everything. Everything!
Now that one or two of punk satan tactics have been discussed, what are our tactics?
What do we do when we are trailed and led with/by trouble? What do we do when sickness, pain, heartache, anger and all that comes? What do we do when are depressed or angry?
I can say that sometimes I let whatever happens and I would sit back and let it get worse and not fight. Why? One cuz I didn't know how to fight. All I know how to do is survive. (said by Celie in the Color Purple) Welp! That is not good enough! Surviving is not living! We are more than conquerors through Christ Jesus who loves us!
Now that I KNOW(ledge) how to fight, what to use and how... I don't sit back any longer. I fight that old foogy betta than how he fights me. He must not know all my tactics cus he most def get's side swipped.
Yeah, I get tired of fighting and going through but God already said that I am more than a conqueror and I win so I must continue to fight and win because He says I do.
Know that ol punks tactics and don't be scared of him. We have power to tread(walk, stomp, drag, run on, kick, smash) on serpents and all that. Stand to him toe to toe and do not back down.
Get knowledge and fight smart! Know his tactics and sock him when he least expect it!

This is good! It reminds me of something that the Lord shared with me some time ago. I was going through my "Lord, why do I have to do this stage" :) He brought to my attention the Army, Navy, Airforce, Marines....all branches of service and then he brought to me organized sports...basketball, baseball, soccer, etc....at first I didn't see the connection, but then the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said "KNOW YOUR ENEMY".

In every branch of the service and organized sports they study the tactics of their enemy or opponent! They study their movements, their mannerisms, their "M.O." if you would! Why should we as saints of God? We study the word of God, but we sometimes don't take the time to study our enemy! What are his tactics? What is his M.O.? What does he use to kill us? YES, that is VERY important!! READ UP! STUDY UP! Get some books! Look back over your life....where does the enemy normally attack you, what door does he usually use to get at you? Most importantly, WHAT TOOLS DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR WARFARE TOOLBOX TO FIGHT HIM?!!!! Whew, that's another blog!
